Write about your closest friend/s.

I can count my wife as one of my closest friends. We became closer when we were married 3 years ago. I’m lucky/blessed to have a partner/friend/confidant like her who fully supports my passion, which is tour guiding.

Tell us your three favorite colors.

I’m colorblind. I only see primary colors. There are times that I see blue/violet/purple as one color. I don’t know mauve or wine or lilac. They are not colors.

I like blue, brown and yellow. Blue is dynamic. Brown reminds me of Chocolait. I consider yellow as my lucky color.

Your favorite television program.

I was born in the ’80s and became self-conscious in the ’90s. TV continues to be a huge part of my life so I’m going to pick a show from each decade.

In my young innocent days, I love watching Flying House (I still know the lyrics of its opening theme song) but when I started to include romance and barkada, it’s TGIS. I crush Angelu de Leon :-)

Talk about your piercings or tattoos if you have any.

I do not have piercings or tattoos. Nothing interesting to talk about but I do have a birthmark :-) When I was little, tattoos were connected to criminals. I saw an old Filipino action movie showing convicts sporting the Holy Rosary design on their skins.

I know someone who had a stud located near his lower lip. It became a big problem when he had a huge zit in that area.

I decided to try and answer a tumblr question everyday until Christmas. To answer question #1:

Your middle name, and how you feel about it.

I really do not use it that much. I don’t put it in my Facebook account and do not even make it a point to include it in forms unless required. I love my mom but I’m not proud of my middle name. It’s associated with a drug lord in one of the old towns in Parañaque who turns out to be my godfather.

Mayroon tayong batas. Simple lang ang nilalaman nito: ang pagbigay galang sa ginawa ni Julian Felipe. May tamang pagkanta nito at hindi lang basta bastang puedeng ayusin ito para lang umayon sa gusto mo. Kung ang batas na ito ay mahirap sundin e maasahan pa ba na sundin ang iba pang mas mahalagang batas? Ang daming dahilan para takasan ang pagsunod at diyan nagmumula ang halos lahat ng problema ng bansa natin.

Hindi na ba nakikita ng tao ang kahalagahan ng pagsunod sa batas?

Malinaw na hindi ko dinudada ang pagiging makabayan ni Arnel Pineda. Ang nais ko lang ay maging halimbawa siya sa mga nakararami. Sundin ang batas, ganun ka-simple. May wastong pag-awit at hindi ito katulad ng national anthem ng USA.

Hindi tayo sila. Hindi tayo magiging sila. Hindi natin kaya maging sila. Iba tayo.

Bukod kay Pineda, dapat ring mabigyan ng kaukulan na multa o parusa ang mga nakaraang singer na minasaker ang Pambansang Awit. Kung hindi ito mapursige, sumasagi sa isip ko ang isa pang tanong: Ganito na lang ba kababaw ang pagtingin ng iba sa national symbols natin?
